How long I need to decide about my wedding date?
- 12 months before. One of the most important initial steps to organize a wedding is to determine your budget. We fully understand that at first point you just want your marriage to be unique and magical, but determining your budget will be really helpful as it will affect significantly many of your afterward decisions and choices.
- Remember that you need to start on your paperwork 4 months before your wedding date. Any delay may result in the legal process not being able to go through the specified channels on time. (Plaza pallas hotel nor the UK Bridal Consultant take any responsibility for any delay in papers resulting in the cancellation of your wedding). Any legal paperwork/fees done in the UK either through The Bridal Consultants or if you are doing your own paperwork are not included in the all-inclusive packages that we offer. These services and fees are paid and rendered for in the UK.
What do I have to do in order to book the wedding day?
- If you have decided that getting married with us, the most important step is to reserve /book your date. All other orders and details can be sorted out at a later time. Zakynthos is a very popular destination and dates get booked up very quickly. So you have to contact us in order to book your date. Please note, weekdays are preferred for better availability.
- The time of your wedding ceremony will be confirmed on the booking date of your wedding.
Are the wedding locations determined by the packages you offer?
- No, you can pick out any package, mix and match it with any wedding location that suits you.
Are these weddings legal?
- These weddings are 100% legal. Weddings abroad are not mandatory to be registered in the UK but are acknowledged as being legally bonded. You can start changing names on certain documents once you have received your English translation of your marriage license. We will take you to the town hall for the specified appointments.
How I secure my wedding day?
- To secure your date a 300.00 euros deposit is necessary. This can be payable by calling us on 0030 26950 24506 with credit card details (visa or Mastercard) or alternative methods can be arranged.
All transactions will be confirmed by email. Do I receive any confirmation from you when the deposit take place?
- When your deposit is paid for your wedding date, we will send you an email confirming the transaction. A booking form will be forwarded to you so we may be able to have all your contact details. Then we will send a confirmation letter and all relevant paperwork.
How I can book accommodation with the wedding planer for me and my quests?
- We offer a huge variety of accommodation. Visit our website www.plazapallas.gr and clicking onto accommodation and you will find a detailed description from self-catering studios, deluxe rooms and private villa. Make a list of people you would like to invite to your wedding. Send pre-invites letting your family or friends to know that you are getting married in Zante and the date of your wedding.
- Then you can send us an email inform to us the dates you like to come, how long you want to stay, how many pax are your quests and what type of room you like.
- Then we can send you our availabilities and our special rates offer for you and you quests.
- When booking accommodation 30% deposit is necessary for all studio, apartments and villas.
- All deposits can be paid by credit card details or bank transfers.
- The accommodation balances usually can be paid a few days before your arrival or when you arrive.

What is an apostille in UK?

- Please note!! Originals of all the above documents (except passports) need to be sent to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office for legalisation with Apostille stamps.
- When you have decided upon your wedding ceremony venue this needs to be secured with a 200.00 euros deposit.
- Your next step would be to decide what reception venue suits you. Again this needs to be secured with a 200.00 euro deposit.
- If both venues are in the same area we need only one deposit.
- Deposits for weddings are non-refundable no matter how early you have booked your date and no matter what your reasons are for canceling.
- A few months in advance we will send you spreadsheets regarding table seating plans, menus etc.
- A month before your wedding you will need to contact us in order to book your pre-wedding meeting. This meeting is usually scheduled for the day after you arrive in Zakynthos at Plaza Pallas reception, where the final orders are put through.
- During our pre-wedding meeting, you are required to pay the rest of the balance of the total wedding cost. All balances are to be paid in Euros cash preferably.
